Biographical Statement

Josh Hogan is the Digital Preservation Archivist at Georgia State University’s Special Collections & Archives. Since joining GSU in 2021, Josh has also served as the curator for the Atlanta Civic & Neighborhood History Collections. Josh has a BA in History from Maryville College (Maryville, TN) and a Master’s degree in Information Science from the University of Tennessee. His career has included experience in community college librarianship, digital librarianship, and special collections.


Candidate Statement

As a member of SGA for the past eleven years, I know the positive impact this organization has on our profession. I am seeking to expand my service to SGA as well as growing my leadership skills by seeking the position of Treasurer.
