Biographical Statement


Maggie Thomas earned her undergraduate degree in Art History from Georgia Southern University and after graduation worked as an archival assistant in the Special Collections Department of Georgia Southern’s Zach S. Henderson Library, later earning her Master of Library and Information Science from Valdosta State University. She is currently the Processing Archivist at the Kennesaw State University Archives in Kennesaw, Georgia and before that she was a Library Associate and Genealogy Research assistant in the Cobb County Public Library System’s Georgia Room in Marietta, Georgia.

Candidate Statement

Maggie has served before as SGA archivist, and has expressed an interest in serving again.
