SEAA/SGA Virtual Summer Symposium:

Navigating the Pitfalls and Possibilities of Contested Collections

The Southeastern Archives Association and the Society of Georgia Archives are pleased to welcome you to a virtual summer symposium to be held June 23, 2023. The theme is Navigating the Pitfalls and Possibilities of Contested Collections. The program committee has selected three presentations that focus on the challenges and opportunities associated with working with collections that document violence and oppression and resistance to that oppression. These panels will provide insight on the each archivists struggles and lessons learned while working with difficult collections.
