In a flash, pictures come alive with narration and music, evoking memories from years past. Young visitors get a kick reading comic strips about life in a small town. Opinions and comments about your current archival exhibit are voiced online in an instance. Do you or your organization use digital tools to engage audiences, promote archival activities, and/or energize and enhance exhibition programs?

The workshop will be held in a computer lab, where space is limited to 25. Registrants need only bring materials to create two products. These include 1) a flash drive with jpeg files from or about your collections/institutions; 2) background materials from or about your collections/institutions for reference and music files; and 3) a headset if you have one (some available on site).

Your registration fee will include a box lunch. Please contact Wesley Chenault, SGA Education Committee Chair, with any dietary restrictions.

For questions about workshop content, contact Danilo M. Baylen (Associate Professor, Instructional Technology and Design, College of Education, University of West Georgia) at 678-839-6130 or dbaylen@westga.edu.
