Registration is now open for a Photograph Conservation Workshop to be held at Emory University's Rose Library. This workshop is an introduction to the conservation of photographic materials including a brief history of photography, how to identify different types of photographic materials, and how to store and care for them. This workshop includes hands-on training and is geared towards archivists with minimal or no experience working with photographs. The focus will be on analog photographs and not on digitization or digital preservation.  The instructor is Stephanie Watkins of Watkins Conservation Services.
