Did you have a mentor, and what impact did they have on you?

The biggest impact was serving as a sounding board.

Why would you make a good mentor?

I'm currently an advisor/mentor to all the students at the CSU MAS program. This is taught me how to ask questions about goals, expectations, etc. In terms of experience as related to an archival advisor, I have been a consultant for projects for the last three years. This includes training partners, setting timelines, work proposals and so forth. I've held leadership positions in SGA, ACA and served on SAA committees

What is the best piece of professional advice you received?

If you aren't making some one a little bit mad, you probably are not doing your job correctly.

What is your favorite type of candy?

Starburst, but not the mini ones. Those aren't real.

  • Repository Systems
  • Policy/Procedure
  • Privacy/Copyright issues
